Privacy Policy

Overview

TimeMender is a personal worklog capture app from Brown’s Tech Co. It is designed to help you track work time on your device.

TimeMender does not require a Brown’s Tech Co. account, does not use a Brown’s Tech Co. backend service, and does not sell or share personal information.

TimeMender may offer optional backup and restore features using iCloud or a backup file you choose. These features are for backing up and restoring your local app data. They are not Brown’s Tech Co. account sync or multi-device cloud sync.

Information TimeMender Stores

TimeMender stores the worklog information you enter in the app, such as work item names, timer records, time entries, daily targets, and app settings.

This information is stored locally on your device. Brown’s Tech Co. does not receive, host, or access this app data.

iCloud Backup and Restore

If you enable iCloud backup, TimeMender creates a backup file that may include your work items, time entries, and settings. The backup file is written to TimeMender’s iCloud Documents container through Apple’s iCloud service under your Apple ID.

Brown’s Tech Co. does not receive, host, read, or control your iCloud backup. Apple provides the iCloud storage and transfer for this feature, and your use of iCloud is governed by Apple’s terms and privacy practices.

Restoring from iCloud reads the backup file from that iCloud container and replaces the current local TimeMender data on your device. This is backup and restore, not ongoing record-by-record sync between devices.

You may also export or restore a backup file using the iOS share sheet or document picker. When you choose a destination or file provider, that provider’s handling of the file is governed by its own terms and privacy practices.

In-App Purchases

TimeMender offers an optional one-time purchase to unlock Pro features. The purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store under your Apple ID. Brown’s Tech Co. does not receive or store your payment information.

To confirm your purchase and keep Pro features unlocked, TimeMender uses RevenueCat, a purchase-management service. RevenueCat receives a record that the purchase was made and an anonymous identifier used only to validate the purchase and restore it on your devices. It does not receive your name, email address, or any of your worklog data, and this information is not used to track you across other apps or services.

Information TimeMender Does Not Collect

TimeMender does not collect or access:

• Account or login information
• Location data
• Contacts
• Calendars
• Photos or media files
• Documents or files other than backup files you choose to export or restore
• App usage analytics or behavioral tracking data
• Crash reports

Notifications

TimeMender may use local notifications for reminders you configure in the app. These reminders are handled on your device and do not send your worklog data to Brown’s Tech Co.

Support Emails

If you contact Brown’s Tech Co. for support, we may receive your email address and any information you choose to include in your message. We use that information only to respond to your request.

Data Deletion

Because TimeMender data is stored locally on your device, you can delete app data by deleting entries inside the app where available or by deleting the app from your device.

If you created an iCloud or exported backup file, deleting the app may not remove that separate backup file. You can manage or delete iCloud and exported backup files through Apple’s Files app, iCloud settings, or the destination where you saved the backup.

Children's Privacy

TimeMender is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

Brown’s Tech Co. may update this policy as TimeMender changes. If future versions add account sync, analytics, or other services, this policy will be updated before those features are released.
